Bug.. Double entries in backend/ database 1 Year, 3 Months ago
Hello all,

In the backend under management I have the list of users with Karma but a lot are duplicated (see attach 1)
In the MySQL d._base_ the same thing (see attach 2)
Does someone has the same "problemm"

2nd question. My new users are not seen in the backend "management" function while they are in the data_base_. Is there a LIMIT on the backend list?

1) I have the exact same problem. I am unsure what causes it unfortunately. It must be something off in the coding that's triggering it. I have to go into my data_base_ and manually delete the duplicate entries. Perhaps someone can find a way to fix this soon.

2)Can you be more specific? If you mean that your new users are not appearing on the administration side, did you try setting the number of users displayed per page to a higher number or viewing the next page?

Point 1; lets wait for someone who knows....

Point 2; Very very rare.... if the "results" stands on 30 records a page I only have 2 pages with members (nrs. 1 - 30 and 31 - 51) But if i put the number up to 50 results a page i have 2 pages with members (nrs. 1 - 50 and 51 - 82 which are the numbers of user i have now...)

Strange huh.....

Anyway, is it possible to set up a mailinglist? So if someone puts up the system for 1.5.X we all get an update mailing.

Second, if you want you can put me up for moderator of the forum, i'll reply on the posts I know. And if you need testers, quess what? You can beep me up as well. I like the component

Point 1: Can't wait for a solution...so until then, I'll deal with the bug like you.

Point 2: Stranger things have happened, I guess it could be worse, lol

A mailing list is possible-I will look into setting one up today.
Also, as soon as the moderator positions open, you will definitely be the first choice.

There is now an official Karma2 newsletter for those who wish to be notified of component updates and news. Thanks to jasperli for the idea!

I'd like to signup for the newsletter. Is there a _link_ to follow?

Thanks,
